Dear Roy and Fiona,

I'd like to sincerely thank you both for helping to restore my passion for playing the piano. I was very disheartened years before when I was told by a piano tuner (obviously not Advanced Pianos) that my piano couldn't be tuned and should be discarded.

I resigned myself to buying a digital piano as I didn't want to spend thousands on a new traditional piano. Before buying a digital I thought I'd ring and find out how much it would be to do a basic tuning so I could maybe sell it for a low price. Fiona took the time to offer me some very sound advice after asking some good questions about my intentions with the digital piano. This helped me make a decision to go ahead with the tuning and gave me hope after hearing her examples of people in similar dilemmas to what I was experiencing.

Roy then came and worked his magic with my piano. I couldn't be happier with it and am now enjoying playing the piano again more than ever! The tone is as good as it was 48 years ago when my family bought it for me. For an amount much less than the cost of the digital piano I was considering, I now have a wonderful asset that I can pass down to my grandchildren in the future. I'll certainly be keeping up to date with my piano tuning from now on and will only be using Advanced Pianos!

Dear Roy,

Thank you for doing such wonderful work and restoring my piano to its former glory. It has given me such pleasure. My mother had quotes two years ago from others who said that it was too damaged etc. However, you painstakingly and thoroughly restored it so it sounds brand new. I am very grateful to all the hours and hours you did, especially taking a large part of it home to work on it too. Roy did a wonderful job tuning our piano that had been give to us by my parents - it hadn't been tuned for at least 10 years, however this was no problem for Roy who was so thorough in his method and when finished he was happy to show me with his metre that everything was perfectly in tune.

One week later I rebooked Roy to come and tune our pianola. We bought the pianola about 10 yrs ago . We had a tuner come 3 times to try and tune it but we were told that it was the best they could do. We were thinking we would sell it. I then had Roy come to our home for our other piano. He looked at the pianola and said he would tune it. The pianola is now in perfect tune and we now don't want to sell it. Thank you Roy.
